We're from California and are still searching for authentic Mexican food. Although Rusty Taco is more Mexican-inspired food, it the closest we've come to finding good street tacos.
We ordered beef fajita, fish, and chicken fajita tacos. We are used to carne asada, but the beef fajitas were good. The fajita-style onions, green peppers, and red peppers proved to be more than adequate as a savory seasoning.
The fish tacos were our favorite! Fried cod with a tasty sauce and red cabbage...delicious. So much so that my wife ordered an additional one.
Service was fine and staff were generally friendly. They brought the food to the table, which was a nice touch.
The atmosphere was industrial-casual and enough physical space for the post-COVID environment. It was generally clean, although the women's restrooms needed attention.
I give the restaurant a total score of 4.3 out of 5 and will definitely be back!
